Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud (CC), a key component of Adobe CC, is a powerful video editor used by world-leading media and broadcasting professionals. Users can import and combine virtually any type of media, and edit it in its native format, without the need to transcode. The media Adobe Premiere Pro CC users work with can be multiple gigabytes in size. Once the editing team is finished manipulating the project’s assets, these files need to be transferred to a different location for post-production. Due to these large sizes, transferring files via TCP and FTP can become very inefficient. Long wait times create unacceptable bottlenecks in a workflow, limiting productivity. As the distance between sending and receiving parties increases, so do these transfer times.

A panel has been created within Adobe Premiere Pro CC that interacts directly with the FileCatalyst TransferAgent client. Editors in the field can capture, create, or edit raw footage from their location. Once the rough cuts are complete, they can be rendered out to any format using the Adobe Media Encoder. Once the encoding process commences, FileCatalyst TransferAgent then transfers the encoded file to its specified destination.

Users can also send their files, regardless of size or format, to post-production facilities in minutes. FileCatalyst also guarantees every file transfer performed by FileCatalyst TransferAgent. To further streamline the workflow, users can share and collaborate on their work from directly within Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
