FileCatalyst Partner Alliance Program Launched

August 28, 2012—Unlimi-Tech Software, the pioneer in accelerated file transfers, announced today the global launch of the FileCatalyst Partner Alliance program. The program, which offers a comprehensive set of sales, marketing, training and technical resources, was established to provide channel partners as well as embedded and service provider partners with the opportunity to provide their customers with accelerated file transfer solutions.

Unlimi-Tech also announces Alan Atkinson as its vice president of business development. In this global role, Alan will be responsible for driving the growth of FileCatalyst into new channels, verticals and geographies.

Atkinson has over 25 years of experience in international marketing, sales and business development in the high tech industry including 10 years at the European Headquarters of Digital Equipment Corporation in Geneva, Switzerland. He has held senior management positions with early stage and established technology companies. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario, Bachelor of Administration from Brock University, Master of Business Administration from Switzerland and a Sommelier Certificate from Algonquin College.

According to a July 2011 Forrester report, the 2010 annual revenue for Managed File Transfer solutions was approximately $1.4 billion. The Forrester report anticipates that this high level of growth will continue for the next three years as organizations continue to upgrade their B2B infrastructure and then will settle into a more normal growth rate of 8% per year by 2014 with a 2015 estimated managed file transfer market revenue projection of $2.48B.
